GKH Horizontal Siphon Scraper Unloading Centrifuge

The main motor drives the basket to rotate at full speed, material being fed into through a feed pipe. Under the centrifugal force, the liquid is discharged out of the inner basket through filter cloth and the holes of the inner basket, fluxing to the clearance between the inner and the outside baskets, then to the siphon chamber through the holes to it, where it is discharged out of the machine by a siphon set. The solid deposits in the basket as a ring layer of cake. Feeding is stopped after the fed material reaches the expected amount, then further separation starts, and washing may be performed at the same time. After the washing and the separation, the scraper rotates automatically, scraping the solid and discharging it out of the machine through the scroll. Then the screen is washed automatically, and another cycle begins.

Characteristics and Uses

GKH Series are a kind of horizontal siphon scraper centrifuge with automatic control and continuous and cycling operations. They can feed, separate, wash, dewater, discharge, and wash screen as they are running at full speed. They have the advantages of structure novelty, stable performance, high automation, less working intensity, ideal washing effect and low moisture content. They can be used for separating the suspension with solid phase particle size of more than 0.015mm and with the concentration of 25-60%, especially suitable for chemical industry, food industry and pharmacy, such as the solid-liquid separation of starch, citric acid and amino acid .
