A motor drives the basket. In the state of feeding speed, material is fed into the basket through a feed pipe, and the feeding is stopped after the fed material reaches the expected amount And then the high speed is needed for separation. In the process of feeding and high-speed separation, under the centrifugal force, the liquid phase is discharged out of the basket through a filter screen and the holes of the basket wall, and then out of the machine through the tube for discharging liquid, with the solid phase left in the basket .The machine stops after the high-speed separation. The filter bag is then cleaned manually, loosening the solid phase and discharging it out of the basket along below conical surface of the basket, from the bottom of the centrifuge.

XR Series are a kind of top suspended manual discharge batch-filtering centrifuge. They can realize moderate-speed feeding and high-speed separation. The machine has the advantages of simple structure, stable performance, easy operation, less working intensity, large capacity and low energy loss. They can be used for separating the suspension of medium or fine-sized particles or of low- viscosity liquid, suitable for light industry, chemical industry industry, fertilizer, food industry and pharmacy, especially the solid-liquid separation of processing such products as light calcium carbonate, light calcium phosphate, acid salt and potash fertilizer.
